I don't think I've ever seen one of those three not make the blacklist.  Ty Cobb was surprisingly undrafted in the 1st round recently (I think last season), but got blacklisted in the 2nd round when a bunch of people picked him.

It's hard to get the real cookies through. I can't remember for sure Maddux ever getting used.

It was last season that Cobb went unclaimed in round 1, then six tried for him in round 2. I don't know much the higher 120 cap had to do with it, but the draft was strange last season, with more blacklisting than usual.

I've seen years where cookies get through the first round, because no one attempted to take them, but they never actually make it onto a team as far as I ever remember.

I usually try to draft 2 or 3 cookies in the first round just to see if I can get them.  I have been successful several times. But I do not fill my entire first roster with cookies.

And, as Don said, any cookie not drafted in the first round will be blacklisted in the second round.

Believeit is in. Down to boclaird, Tucker T's, and tycho88.

Back in the days when you were required by the draft center to draft 2 each of catchers and infielders, 5 outfielders and 10 pitchers, some of the biggest cookies were 200k seasons of Ed Romero, Tim Foli, Joe Torre, Jay Buhner and Sid Bream.

Just looked here out of the clear blue. . . . Sorry folks. . . . Didn't realize we were this far along. . . . I'll do the best I can to get something in but this is my busiest time of the year. . . . yikes!!!

Please keep me in the league for now only as a release.  My wife and mother in law were in a bad freeway car accident last night.  My wife is currently in ICU and my mother in law has broken vertabrae in her neck.   Prayers are much appreciated.  Ron.

Agreed with Eric. If you decide to step aside or need extra time, I'm sure we'll all understand. If SIM is a release, and not a burden, fine. But if it's a burden, drop it.
