We are now up to 3 student eligibility emails.
i only have 2 on my d2 team, 3 on my d1 team. i guess it was me who broke it then. the engine must have looked at my recruits, thought, what was he thinking?? and went off to ponder.

Now if you click on Recruit tab you get the Error....just noticed it is messed up in Phelan now too, trying to recruit and you can't access it.

Ok, so when this happened I was online for the rollover. I signed an ineligible player at the last minute to replace one that I lost a battle on. A little after 2 am I got the emails that the world had rolled, so I came to set my depth charts and practices. The ineligible player was on my roster. He reported, and I gave him max SH minutes and left him be. Later, after everything was "fixed" he was gone, a walk-on had appeared and I had an message saying he went juco, timestamped 5 am, not 2 am.  Naturally I sent a ticket. Here is my exchange, posted for general comment.

I know something glitched with Tark that resulted in re-running some things maybe? All I know is that last night I was awake when the emails came that rollover had happened. I went to my Alabama team immediately and set practices, distro, etc. My ineligible playerDikembe Azure had reported, and not gone juco. I set him up with 84 minutes of study hall. Now he is gone, and I have an email from him telling me, sorry coach, went juco.

Going juco instead of reporting has some element of randomness, right? So, I won the first time that the engine rolled and got to keep my player. After the glitch or whatever, I have now lost the player. can you please return Dikembe Azure to my lineup where he belongs? It is not fair that he was here, but the program glitched and now he is gone.

Darryl,

The only thing that ran multiple times was the inbox message about recruiting ending. If the player had decided to report to your team there would be an inbox message and he would be on your roster. There's no evidence of either.

bullshit. he was on my team. I was online when he reported. I gave him his study hall minutes while I set everyone else's practice time up. I saw him on my team. Then after things ran multiple times, he was gone. I'm not happy about this.

and afaik there is no message if he reports, he just reports, like all the other players. The only time there is a message is when he doesn't report, which, as you not, is a message I did not receive at 2 am, but later after things had re run.

Methinks you got a very raw deal on this.  Not sure what CS is talking about when they say there's a message that he reported either.  I've been playing this game for a couple of days now, recruit ineligibles all the time, and have never received a message about an ineligible reporting.  I'm in agreement with Dacj on this one, you get one when he's goes JuCo and that's it.  Sounds like you were just lucky enough to get the new CS guy to answer your ticket (please note the sarcasm).

And for what it's worth, I think I would have been a little on the unhappy side myself had that happened to me.

CS admitted the error, but cannot restore the player to me. At least they gave a small credit...still lost the player, but I was reminded I have a head start on him for next time...
