As long was we add Bill Self and Coach K to the new rules...I'm fine with it.

If Cal is dirty, it will come out. You can't get away with cheating so often for so long and get away with it. Especially being as high profile as Cal is, with everyone trying to bring him down.

We know for a fact that Maggette was dirty as hell as duke and nobody ever says anything about it. Pearl is obviously a cheater and liar. Cal will get caught if there's anything going on.

most coaches bend the rules.

some are just more blatant (like cal) he already got caught at previous coaching stops, and he'll get caught again sooner or later.

I get not liking him, that's fine. There are coaches and schools I dislike too. But it's pretty damn clear you have no idea what you're talking about when you say he's been caught cheating before.

derek rose....for one... also had to vacate wins at Umass, and at memphis... oh and remember back when he screwed over Umass along with Marcus Camby? I do.

as a coach (purely on court) he's amazing, and does a great job. but as a person he's proven to not care about the rules, and not care if his players follow the rules as long as he gets paid in the end.

Ha! bleacher report and some random blog? cmon dude. what did Calipari have to do with rose? Rose was in HIGH SCHOOL And what did he have to do with Camby taking money from an agent? Give me a damned break. Calipari turned Camby in to the NCAA when he found about it. Did you know that Maggette admitted under oath to accepting money from an agent in high school? Why aren't you on here complaining that K is a cheater?

Like I said, I have no problem if you just don't like Calipari. But saying he has been caught cheating twice is factually incorrect and willfully ignorant. As for rose, how is a college coach going to be able to control what high school players do? If you punish Memphis for Rose, then punish other schools too.

It seems like you just can't distinguish between ineligible players and actual cheating by a school/coach.

it's the coach's job to know his recruit can't pass the one test he has to pass.... his handling of rose screwed memphis out of a final four... and yes, according to the NCAA he is responsible, and it was cheating. it doesn't really matter how much you love Coach Cal, according to NCAA bylaws he's cheated on more than one occassion.

sure, coach K cheated too then...as i said, most coaches bend the rules, just IMO coach Cal seems to care less about getting caught because he knows he's got another paycheck waiting for him. (like running to UK after getting Memphis in trouble).
