Good point.  If calhoop's teams all finish around 77-85, he can claim, "Well, I didn't have the good teams" but if they go 85-77, he's a hero.   Where as, if your "good" teams all underachieve, you blew it for the partnership. 

Maybe calhoop "knew" what he was doing.

I'm pretty amazed more than half the field was picked to finish last by someone.

As you can see from my picks, I'm amazed at how badly the Reds are projected to do. It's true the SP is not great, but they were not one of the teams where I had any trouble spending $120M.

Every franchise has loads of available talent (except for Tiger pitchers).  I based my predictions largely on how well franchises have done for me in the SIM.  Perhaps a lot of people are harboring some Joe Morgan bitterness.

I've had some luck with Joe Morgan, so maybe that's the difference.

alleyviper and I just split AL/NL. He wanted the Indians for fandom reasons so I took the NL. We spent about 30 seconds on this in total.

Huh....EjStockman & I spent all of 2 minutes diving up teams.  He said i'll take the West, you take East.  Never even gave a thought to which possible team scenarios might be better.  I agree that the Tiger pitching is bad.  Oh, well.  Wish it was starting already, it's been more than 4 months since I had a team active - lets go!

Yep.  I had already been tinkering around w/ an oakland team so we just kept it.
