zhawks - we requested a game against you for next season, but someone else accepted first. we'll have to pit these "potential phenoms" head to head in post season play if not the season after!

Sounds good... I signed a sg with LM that has a lot of highs (Ill have to double check to see which ones were high highs) I am not sure where the heck i am going to have him play but I got him to RS as well. Potential

Edit: he is listed as a sg.

I didn't eval this guy as much as I should have - but I just signed this player in Phelan. He also has 82 WE.

- Didn't look very comfortable at times handling the ball - he has the raw skills to make me think he has *tremendous* upside.
- Looked shakey at the free throw line - I definitely think we can correct some fundamental issues to help him improve.
- Slow - needs a lot of work on foot speed - if he works hard at it, we could see *massive* improvement here.
- Above average student in the classroom and on the court.
- Pretty good understanding how to play defense - if he's willing to listen, we could really see some major improvement.
- Doesn't look comfortable with his back to the basket - sky's the limit.
- Pretty solid rebounder - there's no reason to NOT expect HUGE improvement here.
- Needs aerobic conditioning. Tires easily - with the right diet and drills, I think we can see a *dramatic* change in his conditioning.

BH - high high
FT - average (but you knew that)
Spd - high high
def - low high
LP - high high
reb - high high
sta - high high

only one you don't have there is shot blocking. Here's a chart I put together to help me remember.

Yay! A chart. Thank you.

Edit: Seriously, This is great for us senior citizen types!

That's a great chart!!! Very useful. I am going to quote your post over to my new coaches guide... (if anyone even looks at it anymore). Very good tool!

Redshirting him seems to have been a pretty good decision.
10/7/2011 10:03 PM
Does this seem about right for development for a redshirt player? Not disappointed at all, more curious.
