I mean he's not a great scorer by any means, pretty average in terms of ath/sp/per/bh only his LP is above for his position. But at the time of your original post you had a very small sample size and right now his production seems to be about in line with what I'd expect from a player like him.

Whoever implied that I thought he would be a "dominant" scorer is putting words in my mouth.  I never said that at all.  I'll point out yet again that he's only taken 40 shots in 6 games.  For those of you who are mathematically challenged or just painfully lazy, that's only 6 2/3 shots per game.  I think he's good enough to shoot 10-15% better than what he's doing on that volume of shots.  I also think it's borderline ridiculous that he's turning the ball over more than twice per game when he's only taking that many shots.  He's getting less than 3 shots off per time he turns it over.
It is a small sample size.  As mentioned he isn't going to dominate, but he should even out as the season goes on.

And it looks like he had three good games after the post was made and it's already pretty much evened out. It was small sample size.

If a player is not a guard and has higher lp by a good bit than pe he will generally not put up a lot of 3s.  Just the way the system works.  I would expect a few more though than he has shot but not many.

Yeah ... you simply can't take a six-game sample and thing that it necessarily means anything (good or bad).

Looks like Randall Holt turned out to be a pretty decent scorer after all.  Just sayin'...

lol, you've got to be kidding. He shot over 50% only once in all the games that you lost. There's a difference between a good player who scores against good teams and an average player who puts up numbers against dog **** D3 conference schedules.

So you've chosen to conveniently ignore the fact that he led me to victory in the 2 wins I pulled off against top-50 RPI teams?  8-14 against Wabash and an incredible 9-11 against Chicago.  And that he took 6 FTs per game at a 76% rate?  And that for most of those losses my only other player capable of scoring against good teams was injured and in at least one case Holt ended up taking over 50% of the shots from my starting lineup?  You're the one that's got to be kidding.  First-team All-American and you're gonna try to tell me he's an average player?  I didn't play an elite schedule, but I had a top-50 SOS.  Some people are just too proud to admit when they were wrong...

looks like Holt made first team all american this past season. I'm proud to say that I got my first ever national awards this past season in knight - POY and DPOY(different players). was not expecting anything so I was pretty excited. not that it means anything.
