i would wager, logain, you'd be disappointed. haha. there are sharks here, and nothing gets past these guys. in addition, you're gonna see a whole bunch of stuff that will surprise the heck out of u. the last master draft league was filled with shock and awe. haha.

I can understand some criticism of the Kidd pick, but he has a lot of variety to build around - I have no idea what I'll be able to find later in the draft.

Surprised? nah. been doing hockey drafts for years.. I know that people find all the hidden gems.. and I am very new to the nba sim.. I've never run an open leauge team.. or any team outside of a progressive/regressive.

But looking at things again.. it wasn't a sg and sf.. but rather 2 sg's.. and I am pretty sure the second of those will get taken in this round somewhere.

Personally, I am thinking of a pure pg depending on how the picks shake out before tonight.

It will be fascinating to see who's left in the fifth round.  Most cornerstone SFs are eligible as PFs or SGs. 

Also, $47 mil won't stretch very far in this league.  I need to pick a round or two to save money for a decent bench.

cp3 going 10 is a shock, and then again, not so surprising in this draft. good indication of how owners are thinking.

Was pretty happy to take CP. I thought about one or two SG types, but Paul seemed to give me most of the same stuff other than threes, still has a nice D rating and makes sure I won't have to do any scrambling for assists later. I'd had a good look at Kobe, but certainly wasn't surprised he didn't fall down to me.

I don't love my pick. Salary may get rough. Turnovers hard to handle.. But I draft smack in the middle of every round.. had my eyes on some efficient guys with more 3's etc.. in the end seduced by star power..

I almost picked kobe....then I almost picked another guy........then the thing I liked about, "the glove" was that every league his 9M version is in he seems to be in the top 10 for MVP and a sure all star. Also if need be I could switch to one of his 7M season which aren't too bad. Not sure how much of a chance I'll have for elite 9 M players as the draft goes on, but if I do, I have flexibility.
