92 Points of Improvement in One Season? Topic

Right when the new potential came out there were lots of guys on roids who hit over 100...

Kevin Capp on my team started out in the 480s when I signed him and, as of today, he is at 757. He's only a junior who has started every game he's played and, based on the Player Thoughts e-mail at the beginning of the year, he will probably hit the 800s by the end of his junior year.

If only he could shoot free throws, sammy :)

Capp's conference foe Terry Citizen at Western New Mexico is going to see similar growth.  He's a +31 so far this season through only 7 games.  At that rate he'd hit 120 or more for the season.  Not a bad haul for a career for some guys.

Wish I could have taken him with me when I left after last season!

+129 for a JUNIOR: http://whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1900194

JuCo in his first year of 4-year-college ball?  Not as impressive.
so this dude was high-high in many categories but never got recruited, for 2 straight yrs? wow....
don't know the player, but he might have been academically ineligible in hs; recruited and "signed"; and then chose to juco instead of not playing. happened to me with a recruit with highs in 7 categories this past recruiting cycle in knight.

I always felt that lp/per/stamina/dur are the easiest to improve. With 99 WE and the high end of high-high in stamina, this doesn't surprise me much.

Clinton Creasman looks to be the current record holder at 134

I believe this might be the highest. +270 in 2 seasons and 2 rollovers.

I had a player www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerHistory/Default.aspx Wesley Sais who increased 125 points in his first season (145 if you include the 20 points in the off-season roll-over) as a true freshman at DIII.

Recruitied him as a 435 rated player, after 4 season (no red shirt) he finished at 740 for 305 total points of improvement over 4 seasons.  He's the best overall improvement I've ever had, for sure.  Too bad it was in season 1 of that attempt to rebuild and I didn't have the players around him to really take advantage...

Actually looking at my records he increased 125 points in each of his 1st 2 regular seasons.

Just had one gain 98, that's the most I've had.

although in a thread with similiar examples there were three players over 134.  With the highest being 140.
