Greatest C ever!

With possibly the greatest defensive C along with one of the greatest post players who will scoop up the boards how can you go wrong?

not necessarily the order I would have selected them in but those are 5 of my top 6 players of all time. So, no surprises so far. The intriguing thing for me now is how long we have to wait for another old school player.

The next two picks would seem to be obvious. To have these 2 players left at the 6th & 7th picks is incredible.

Not to me. I see 5 guys that could go next.

Seriously, though... yeah, me too.  Since this ain't an actual theme league, I'm going to go ahead and use names before they're drafted.  Easily can talk about Kareem, Russell, Duncan, Shaq & Kobe right now.  And then there's... holy crap this'll be tough.

I was pretty thrown off by the Bird pick at #2.. was sure Wilt was going to fall.

Great players don't have a season they have a career. This draft is about having these five players on ur franchise for the duration of their careers.

Yeah those were the 5. And then that guy I had thought of too. Somehow I feel better not mentioning names though.

I was really hoping "The Dream" would last to me. However this is a tough choice between 3 guys but I believe it starts with a center. So as I still debate I will take..............  Bill Russell. I know he had alot of talent around him but 11 is 11 if you know what I mean. Magic might have been a choice over Hakeem in this spot.

Very hard to compare Russell and his achievements to modern players. Can't argue with the pick but if I was sending bill and ted back in time to bring me a center for my team, I really have no idea how good bill would be today.

The 7th pick is a steal! Definately one of the greatest players ever!

Reliable offense from the post... check.  Great rebounder (especially on the defensive side)... check.  Great defender.  Great at starting the break.  Longevity?  Check.  Multiple mvps, multiple championships... how can I pass up on the all-time scoring leader?  I really wanted to go another position because I know there'll be great centers when it comes back to me... and I really wanted to follow my heart and take someone else... but when it comes down to it, you can't just get much better than Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at pick #7.

He would be the best C in the NBA right now. He would probably win 11 more LMFAO! Seriously

Yep. He could have easily gone 2nd or 3rd.
