APBA manI  I lived and breathed that 35+ years ago.  In '74-'75 I replayed the entire NL '71 season.  Pitt. Pirates and SF were awesome. Sanguillan hit .352 to lead the league and Stargell and Aaron chased each other for the homer mark.  I think Willie ended up hitting 48 to beat Aaron by 2.

then i did a random redraft and replayed anotgher entire season.  APBA man.  Seeeeeeeet!

Hours and hours and hours.  I credit APBA with being the single greatest thing that got me into numbers/statistics.  Great game.  The original simulation engine.
My son has been bugging me to let him play HBD.  Sure do wish I still had my APBA for him to learn stats with.  That game was awesome!

I actually bought this several years ago, along with the 1977 card set just so I could reminisce.

I've played a lot of SimDynasty seasons over the last seven years and I'm in one of the beta testing leagues.  If anyone has questions I'll be glad to answer them via sitemail.  HBD is a much more complex game, if that's what you're looking for.  But WIS can't hold a candle to SimDynasty when it comes to customer service.  It's not even close.

Im pretty sure that Muammar al-Gaddafi has better customer service then WIS.
