and I think there should be a rule where no one can blacklist guys like Allen Iverson or George Mikan again.. just no point in that.

Hey guranda those people are already blacklisted.  And only current owners can blacklist players

Dalvarius maybe you should post the existing blacklist list? Also i did not understand that all owners are going to blacklist 2 new players in addition to the 24 already blacklisted, isn't that a little much to have 60 blacklisted players? For what it is worth, i would vote for 12 additional blacklists this season, for a total of 36, and then do the same thing next season where the top 12 get to blacklist 12 more. Gives a little incentive to be ahead at the allstar break....

60 just makes it more interesting and moves us away from the regulars that much more. Many of us signed up for a league that blacklisted 150 players. BOWIS this year had a league that blacklisted everyone that had been drafted in ODL. That is 168 players in total.

I'm in again... get back to you with all that other stuff eventually.  We should be required to blacklist before the current rosters are unveiled, no?

So which is it then?  I'm fine either way, but we need it clearly stated on the first page before too many people sign up.

Yeah, what was posted in the league forum was what ccsweet had mentioned, the 1 blacklisted guy for the top 12 owners at the all star break. Added on to the already blacklisted players. That's what I thought we were doing.

Now we are talking about 60 blacklisted players? Where did that come from?

Agree with flipper we should blacklist before unveiling, if possible.

Also stilll think we need a league review board or something for dumbass blacklistees.

I am sick of seeing Elgin Baylor getting blacklisted.  What we could do is just blacklist the entire first 2.5 rounds on the ncih 52 draft.

That's another option.. usually there aren't any bad picks there. You get the occassional Tiny Archibald pick in the first 2 rounds (he's already b-listed here, too) but those are all good picks most of the time.

I'm in either way (blacklist 12 more, 24 more, or 48 more) and agree with phunke1 that things should be made clear before moving ahead. But let's be clear the numbers are wrong in the above posts from earlier (sorry, didn't have my am coffee before posting before):

In the current league, there are 48 players blacklisted, not 24.

Adding 12 more would be a total of 60 for Season 2.

Adding 24 more (1 more blacklisted player per owner) would be 72.

Another 48 more (2 players per owner) would account for 96 total players blacklisted.

Keep in mind that we probably want to keep this going for a while so maybe it's better not to blacklist too many guys at once (or we can just always start over or go with the current odl or 52 mil league drafts for b-listing, provided there aren't any dumb picks).

I like the idea of the top 12 owners getting to blacklist people, though.

Lol... I love all the "constructed confusion" we've got ourselves into in this forum.  48 players currently blacklisted + 12 top owners blakclist one each leaves 60, right?  I thought that's what we had said over in the league page... but I'll jump in with more confusion -

Who are the "top 12 teams at the break?" - Top 12 records, or the 12 playoff teams.  There is a difference this time around...

I think I caused the confusiOn with my bad math. Dalvarius can cOnfirm but it sounds like we are only striking 12 more which is fine with me. Just need to change the instructions on page one so new owners know they just have to pick a theme, not blacklist any players at this point.

Gary has it. Haha. Yes, good. Sorry about my absence, I'll have ecerything updated by Thursday night. The top 12 were supposed to be at the allstar break, but we weren't ready... so we'll just take thr top twelve returning owners at th end of the season? Any suggestestions?

Exactly. Way to go guys, mucking it up, clearing it up, and realizing you changed nothing... hahaha. Unlisting won't happen until season 2 is under way.. good?

Actually i think the unlisting should happen this season before the roster reveals are done, more fun that way, but just one person's opinion...
