So what about when I get out after 3 days?

This seems like a simple implementation (maybe it isn't) that does nothing but a little good.

I think you can make extreme cases for any situation.   What if you got knocked out in the LCS but had to stay in the hospital for 6 days after being hit by a car?    You'd still lose your team before you got out.

What if I get kidnapped, taken to Syria to be part of some political prisoner exchange?

Maybe WifS should issue credits before the season starts assuming that everyone might win the WS.

Maybe they should get rid of credits altogether, and your reward for success would be inner-peace and self-satisfaction for a job well done.

Credits are good for a year.   Like death, I don't want to crack on people's cash flow but, if $4, $8 or $12 makes that much of a difference in your financial situation, maybe internet games should be de-prioritized a bit.

If this is a difficult thing to do (I recognize it might be) then I don't see the harm in implementing it.  It seems like the only negative response is "YOU'RE POOR AND STUPID!"

It may also allow commishs to learn who is coming back next year and who isn't a little quicker.

I don't really see any harm in implementing it but I don't see a point in doing it either(for the reasons already outlined). 

It's like somebody sending me a registered letter saying Megan Fox will not sleep with me on Halloween.   Pretty pointless.

It is likely easier to batch process the credits once, not 5 times per season.   Why add an extra burden for nothing of significant value?

HD gives you credits as you get eliminated, they could totally do that for HBD.
