Actually, cpd, I am commishing the Centenary League, not the Centennial. However, seaphil created them both. When his personal issues took him away I assumed control. I am hoping he will rejoin us for 1993 if not sooner.

so seaphil created the Centenary, the Centennial, and the Big League, to name at least 3 progs still running, and he is not in any of them???? it's like a guy who can get any woman into bed, but can't keep it up when the time comes......

how many leagues did he start as kidlefty?

I was wrong about the year the Beer League also started in 2003 (I would claim old age but I have always been this way). However the Beer League Draft started on June 19th 2003 which is 10 days before seaphil requested owners. So it looks like progressives were one of those ideas that sprang to life in several peoples minds at the same time.

Now I know our draft took a very long time to complete so my guess is that seaphil's league and the Beer League started close to the same time. I am going to send the original league number to WIS to see if they can tell me the start date.
