Well, they may have also gotten a 7th grader from Delaware, but I know for a fact that PG Ryan Boatright, a current freshman at UConn, committed to USC (coached by Tim Floyd at the time iirc) when he was in the 8th grade.
I'm sorry. I checked my facts and the kid I was thinking of was a football recruit.

Even better.

something needs to change with recruiting. the days were programs with the most money needs to end. make recruiting a season long action. it would add a ton more stragtic value to the game. the week long recruiting cheapens the game because its all a sprint doing it that way when in real life recruiting is a marthon race.
Agree this would make the game more interesting, however this puts new players at even more of a disadvantage and I don't think WIS would do anything to stunt the growth of the game...
new coaches screw up their first classes anyway. as long as u didnt get effort interest along the way, and could theoretically do everything in the last part of recruiting as you could along the way, i don't think it would be an issue
But what about coaches that change schools? I guess it would be more realistic for them to be totally screwed in recruiting but I dont think thats something we need to add to the game.

Dont coaches who change job in real life have to scramble and kind start over too? if you are moving up on a job it would be an increase to you advantage. only those who move from one div to another will need to do "rush recruiting" which we do now so they should be good at it anyway. correct?

recruiting all season long needs to happen to help the game become not only more realistic but to add more stragey into play.
