Carmona is a 21 year old guy with two full seasons and part of another in the game. He has a Makeup of 93. What makes you think he's maxed out?
I think he picks up 8 pts across the batting board, at least, in the next two seasons. Might even be12+. Hire the best batting coach you can find with him.
Can you show me an example of a 21 year old, 93 Makeup guy, with 2.5 years who stops growing substantially?
First, it's not 2.5 years. They've already had Opening Day and 2 Regular Season Dev cycles. He's got 2 more this season, and then his 4th rollover, and then he's at 3.5 years. At that point, development slows substantially, especially in hitting ratings, which I think slow down first of all the ratings.
No one is saying he's done developing. But I think he'll top out around 62-88-73-83-90. That's a great offensive player, especially once you factor in his speed and baserunning. But it's not Babe Ruth, as someone suggsted. There are 4 or 5 hitters in each of my worlds better than this guy, I would say.
