i'm interested in two things about evil's 2nd team... 2-top tier scorers, Wade and Durant... both over 9m each (unless of course you use cheaper seasons, then why draft those guys anyway?) between them, there aren't enough dimes, so, you'll still have to draft a pg which then pushes durant to the no. 3 slot. also, there is 68% usage to think about between 2 guys.
however, that duo is a scoring force, but don't they sort of box evil in, in upcoming picks? usage-wise and position-wise.
i'm diggin' the t-mac, big ben duo. ya gotta give t-mac room to operate, even when he shoots paltry 39-40% games, he'll still score 30 points. big ben will keep cleaning the off-glass for him. nice. i kept debating between t-mac and pierce, but in the end, i liked pierce's 29.9 usage instead of 35%, and of course, pierce's 210-3's. am hoping magic can improve PP's fg%.
ash taking camby was a bit of a surprise for me. i like camby alot in the 52m league, but in the odl, he seems to be more of a 3rd rounder to me. but he is loved by the sim and will out perform his rl dreb total. i would bet on that.
pippen was a good pick, but i hate those players who throw away free points (charity stripe). the season i really like for pippen, he shoots just 67% from the stripe. but there 2 excellent all-around seasons for him, but the better one, he makes only 291 ft's. i place emphasis on team ft%. it lends itself to winning close games more. i know ash loves shaq, but i could never have that guy on my team. same with wilt. wilt rarely wins in this league. don't see a lot of shaq winners either.
yeah, i know, rodman shoots poorly from the stripe too... but he doesn't get there much either.
i agree with dh, gary could've had paul. he went with lucas and ray. haha. not a bad combo though, but paul. wow. dropping that far. a no-brainer.
