I still not sure I understand this answer - are you saying you used a few STs to see the kids high-highs or that you threw them on as additional effort? I could see wanted to determine if some of the highs are low or high, but otherwise STs have little use in battles generally...
Oh, yes, sorry. When I said I figured it was worth a couple STs, I meant to imply "worth a couple STs to see whether there were high-highs"
