I think walk-ons for sim teams are purposely different/better so the sims aren't utter **** all the time.  I'm not bothered that WIS doesn't allow someone to take "advantage" of a "benefit" meant for sims.

Again, if you can't recruit better guys than that at D1, quit HD now...seriously.

That's why.  I took over Alaska Anchorage and the walk-on SG was absolutely fantastic.  Would have finished with 100 PER, 80+ SPD and was starting for the SIM I took over from...but since the season was over and job hiring was in full swing, I was powerless to do anything about it.  What a waste.

Notice how the rhetorical message in the last sentence completely kneecaps your primary point.   Sure, it isn't the biggest deal in the sim, but why shouldn't a new coach be able to extend scholarships to or revoke scholarships from whomever he likes?  If those players are so bad, then what does it matter to you?
