I'll take NL Sutton-Perranoski 66Dodgers/72Dodgers ... They played together in the 66-67 Dodgers- Perranoski drifted for a while and came back to the Dodgers for his final year in 72 ... Some good players there ... SP's: 66 Koufax, 72 Sutton, 72 John, 66 Osteen, 66 Drysdale ... Good position players: at C 66 Roseboro and 72 Yeager ... and some decent bats at 1B 66 Parker and the OF (72 Robinson, 66 Fairly, 72 Crawford, 72 Buckner) ...

QUESTION TO STEVE: CAN I TWIST ANY OF THE PLAYERS OF THOSE TWO TEAMS (66Dodgers/72Dodgers) TO ANY OF THEIR SEASONS (e.g. 66 Koufax and 66 Drysdale to 64 Dodgers, 72 Robinson to 62 Robinson with Reds? etc.) ... I can see how some of these combos can fill a $120M roster! ...

Yes, you can twist any of the players, HOWEVER, you cannot use 2 of the same teams. Dodgers and Dodgers doesn't work. Sorry.... But there are plenty of other ways to use guys from those great Dodgers pitching staffs....

Is there a Baseball Reference link telling me of such combos? ...

I'll take verynice's recommendation: reggie jackson and catfish hunter (71 A's and 78 NY Yankees) ... Battery: C Munson, SP's (Guidry, Blue, Hunter, Figueroa), RP's: Gossage, Fingers, Lyle, Grant, Lindblad, Locker ... IF: Mincher, Randolh, Bando, Nettles, Campaneris ... OF: Jackson, Roy White, FAlou, Blair ... 

I'll Take Derek Lowe and Nomar Garciaparra - 2001 Red Sox and 2006 Dodgers.

Manny and Nomar also played for those two teams if anybody is interested in that combo ...

I didn't realize that there were already 2 teams using the 2004 Redsox.  So give me the 2001 Red Sox instead. 
And put me in the AL.

If its allowed than i'd like to take a 2nd team. The duo of Jose Cardenal and Matty Alou - 1964 San Francico Giants + 1971 St. Louis Cardinals, in the NL.
