I think we all think the game differently though and there are different ways to win, which makes it fun. There is no real recipe for success except maybe getting your prestige up to get better pulldowns, better recruits. I have a way of thinking the game for zones, for man to man and for press teams. I truly do not recruit the same players. I also change my offense whether it's triangle or flex or even motion. A good player is good everywhere... But when you have a class of 4 or 5, or you just have one scholly open with not a lot of cash, you need what I call a team player, someone who fills holes in your system. I have different needs depending of what I run. I haven't won any NT yet, but I feel my teams are getting closer because I do follow a specific plan. I won't play zone with at least one excellent sb player, I normally shoot for two or three. I won't play press without focusing on speed first and foremost and working on stamina. When I play triangle, I want a solid scoring post player. And so on.... This is what makes it fun for me and the reason why I have trouble dropping teams. I will get to four teams though, just do not know which one of my press team I will drop.
