all i can say about this league is the cap. yes, agree with sly: "there are so many great seasons and combinations of players to use..." which is why 50m is the real jewel to this league. there has to be a few "value" picks in early rounds for (imo) a solid plan to work. hence, choosing anfernee in the 3rd. passed on the likes of paul, stockton, kidd, etc. for an 8m, 3000 min player who has an all-around game instead of being an ast. specialist, or a 3-pt. shooter or both with great def.
that is why i think that one paul season and that one stockton season and that one curry season are incredibly valuable early round picks in this league. to offset that slight advantage of others getting those players i went with a "value" pick because of the cap space. choosing a jordan or wade or durant to counter would've put me into the financial gulag i found myself in last season.
i took at rodman and penny as "value" picks early, and securing 2 players that are "cheaper" in the early rounds perhaps will put me into a position i haven't been in before, with the later rounds having much more effectiveness to team symmetry.
my "plan" is still in play. haha
i would underscore sly's comment about seasons and players with a little emphasis to the "partial season" value.
