I think 16 is probably a reasonable number to shoot for, if you wait for 24 you may lose some that have already signed up.

you would not get a season that is not in the WIS database, If they missed an entire season, you would not get it

I haven't played live in a few years. Did it die while I was away? If someone wanted to start this league in the progressive forum I would join.

not a progressive type of league since it is a random draw of the players season. would be different every season

It does work as a progressive. I am in one now (URAAP) run by Cheno5 that has been going on for over 25 seasons. In that league 4 players are randomly selected each year to go back into the draft pool. We have a mini draft and then random seasons are assigned again. It is a very fun league. I think it would be a great live league.
