No idea if you're taking a shot at me or mbriese but it doesn't really matter. I find anyone who thinks people on the internet value their opinions of people's real lives delusional. A person on a message board could be exceptionally smart or incredibly stupid. They could be posting from their mom's basement or from a yacht in the Bahamas. They could be a superhuman physical specimen or a fat, disgusting slob. You don't know.

I'M A COWBOY!!!
AND AN ASTRONAUT!!!!!

Prove I'm not.
The fact that your metaphors are unrealistic clarifies that your not a cowboy and and astronaut.

Mike : What about new D1 coaches? They have to do it in the second session.
Hell, you know what thread. This was my response to you:

I'm not disagreeing with that but, in a way, I understand why it is the way it is.

A) Realism in job changes. As I just posted, Dean Smith and Coach K were not Smith and K in their early days at their iconic schools. One could say they were lucky to get 4-6 years to get rolling.

B) More realism when starting a new job. Frank Martin was pretty successful at KSU. Took SC job and had run off the previous coaches' recruits or play thru them(SIMAI guys). Seems to have righted the ship.

C) Prevent dumbass moves one would have to live with. New user takes a team and recruits 5 players without a clue. That's 5 guys he has for the next 4 seasons before he learns one thing. Easier to drop that team and take another. Happens in HBD all the time.

Your use of "your" instead of the grammatically correct "you're" indicates you're incredibly stupid. So there's that.

But you will find it funny that I had to look up "sith". I never watched Star Wars.
This upsets me so much. Treat yo-self, Mike.
It just wasn't for me. Now it's like a Badge of Honor. "Yeah, I've never watched Star Wars. Look at me."
Wasn't taking a shot, it was just a topical albeit nerdy reference to the situation. Agreed on your points on internet-people. For the record, I'm Tom Brady. And Beyonce.

So if I told you to GFY, it's really not that bad.

I mean, if you're comfortable talking to Beyonce that way...

Not so much but I'd tell that crybaby Brady that in a heartbeat.

And he'd probably take the air out of your tires when you're not looking. Not too much, but just enough to make that "Low Tire Pressure" light come on in your car.

Unlikely. He make some poor slug do it then destroy his phone when asked if he requested it.

Ah, I see. Realism sometimes but not when it doesn't work for you.

Got it. End of discussion. Have a good day.
Your inability to see the forest through the trees is sad, Mike.

I said "Have a good day". Don't you know that means I don't care to discuss it any further with you? You have your opinion, shared by many, that realism is the goal in some spots but can't be applied to others. And I just don't like the way people randomly apply it to suit their agenda. It's all good. We're not going to agree.

"We have two recruiting sessions but I bet almost every one of us waits until the 2nd session to contact our back-up options if there's a discernible difference between who we want and who we'll take."
