Good question. The answer is no. You are just assigning a season. The rules state that if an owner is assigned a season in which the player was traded (i.e. multiple versions appear in the database) they must use the version with the highest salary. This effectively eliminates any partial seasons.

I have added the league rules to the first post of this thread, so that everyone can find them easily for reference. At this point hopefully everyone has read them thoroughly and fully understands how each round is going to go, the constraints on your final roster, etc. But please continue to post any questions...while this league is about screwing each other over, I don't someone to get even more screwed because he didn't understand the rules...

We will post both (1) select an exclusive pitcher, and (2) assign the season for the exclusive player that was chosen by the the guy following me, at the same time?
