Update: 12-30 over last 42. Double ouch.

And that's how you go from 7th in round 2 to 20th on round 2 in 8 cycles.

After 24 cycles I have been very average. My best team has 14 wins. My worst team has 11 wins. I haven't had a cycle yet better than 4-2, but I also haven't had one worse than 2-4.

It's still very early, but I'm surprised that my weakest team so far is $130M.

"Average" streak over. 12/31 am cycle, went 1-5 and was shutout in three games, scored 6 runs total. You ever have a bad feeling the wheels are about to come off??? I'm there.

My early selection of Jeff Bagwell in the 140M draft just looks worse and worse all the time. He's sputtering along with a sub-.400 SLG and one homer in 29 games. I knew it wasn't going to be a homer-happy league, but something made me think he was a solid pick at the time. Could have gotten this same production 15 rounds later. At least he draws a few walks ...

I'm sure others are feeling some pain from some of their picks as well.

Ive got one team kicked butt and taking names at 21-8...to make up for the one that is 9-20

My 70 mil team is an 8-22 albatross.

A NYE Schwarze to cap off a 15 win day. Now at a .500 win pct. I am peaking early.

30 games in... 5 teams with 16-18 wins. 1 exactly .500 with 15 wins. I feel like some of them are underperforming... So, I guess I'm happy with where I'm at so far. Hopefully fatigue won't end up killing me and hopefully 1 or 2 of the teams will step it and the rest will keep it up.

Got a schwarze in the 1/2 pm to cap a 16-2 run through this set of series. All my teams were on the road, too, so that's surprising.

Starting to feel nervously optimistic about this round generally, because this has been a really nice start.

Side note: Never quite sure how to define a cycle since sometimes we play the same team a different number of games, and it can go across actual days. Plus with time zones we don't all get them on the date that's listed anyway. In this case, I played same teams in the 1/1 pm2, 1/2 am and 1/2 pm. So that's the cycle I'm looking at.

During that cycle, I took a sound drubbing from your magnificent, double twist team. That team is incredible, and in that theme you should at least be awarded a gold star, or at the very least, a smiley-face emoji
