For the record (and not that it should matter), but the writer of that article is an African American man who is a professor of linguistics at Columbia University and has written several well-received books over the last twenty or so years.

Seems like a smart guy. Interesting that I got no pushback on my long post about systemic racism though. Should be easy to disprove.

Yesterday a cop almost kills a 75 year old by pushing him over, and cops are pushed away from helping him. Then, they lie and say that the man tripped. When the two cops who pushed the man were suspended (not fired, suspended) 57 others stepped down in protest for POLICE SOLIDARITY.
