Balancing talent and team building are the absolute best part of this game, no doubt about it. Do I go after a super-talented SF with a ton of recruiting competition? Or do I pursue that local pure PG because my current PG is a junior and I don’t have anyone else with 90+ bh/p?
This is the part that separates the top coaches (like tkimble) and middle of the road coaches (like myself). For me, the above example goes:
Do I go after a super-talented SF with a ton of recruiting competition? Or do I pursue that local pure PG because my current PG is a junior and I don’t have anyone else with 90+ bh/p?.... Wait, my PG is a senior already? Since when? Crap, now I need to go for the PG and offer him a start despite his ~50 bh/p... OR I
could play a backup sg at pg, a backup sf at sg, then go for the heavily contested SF. Alright, it's settled. I'm going for an international big.
