I have no idea why Americans hate the idea of Health Care.. I had heart surgery 4 yrs ago and if I was in the US I would have been out like $250,000

But, we do have socialized medicine (medicare) for our aged (like me).
All the workers pay so that I don't every time I have an angioplasty.
So that my latest heart attack cost me zip (after my yearly medicare deductable).

Prior to that Obamacare (the ACA) PAID for my 2014 heart attack.
Again, LOW deductable and then FREE.

Obamacare saved my life.
But you are correct, our delivery "system" is a complete clusterfuck.

Until you get old.

For clarity, I DO have to have a medicare "supplement" plan that covers all the costs medicare don't. That plan DOES cost me $$$.
Approx. 150.00 bucks a month.
Without that I would have owed a ton, and likely gone bankrupt years ago.

Thus, like most things, even Medicare isn't FREE.

I've openly admitted Trump lied and handled some things poorly, but I'm obviously able to see things much more objectively than most here, since they are still claiming such fallacies as he never presented a new health care option (He did- it s*cked, but he did.), or that he incited the Capital riots.
