I don't mean looking at every roster. I mean making initial notes on each pitching and hitting combination. I've done pitching for Leagues 1-12 and hitting for Leagues 1-6. I figure if I can finish pitching soon, I can at least jump in and do hitting for any leagues I'm assigned to rather than waste time on ones I'm not in.

In order to get a league number for a league, my roster for my team in that league has to be complete. I can't build my roster until I've drafted my team for that particular league. With 15 leagues to do, it's gonna be awhile...

WTH do we need a league number for at this point? No one really knows what team they are getting and until everyone drafts a team it isnt like the league will start. Am I missing something?

I have juice's proxy, after pedro and barracuda make their selections.

You guys are all talking about having 1st world problems.....I pick like #320. Im not even bothering with research. Ill just see what scraps are left and pick from there. At least 1/2 teams made it.

For most folks (i.e., with fewer teams), it makes perfect sense to wait on researching until you know your league.

But for those with a top 30 pick (especially for people with teams in all 15 leagues), it's critical to have as much information as possible before making an informed decision.

I understand pedro wanting to do as much research as necessary before making his pick. I started researching many weeks ago, and it was only recently when I figured out which teams I wanted.

I fully agree schwarze if I had 10+ teams would need to get started.....you guys are freaking nuts.

I cannot follow that many at once (work, other interests, time, etc.). More power to you and the others but anything over about 4 teams and I find myself simply looking at scores vs. managing the team.

I think I am 34 --- First Combo I thought of was 1995-1996 Atlanta Braves/Toronto Blue Jays (N.L. East) with Maddux et al and of course it was taken #4 ... Wish there was a way to see Team Salaries here for every year from greatest to least on one page... i think tedious and time consuming describes the process best
