The Republican Party is also going to face difficult challenges in the days ahead. Here is some trenchant advice for the victors that I have no doubt will not be followed.
1. You do not have a mandate – The last true mandate was probably Reagan’s victory over Mondale, who was saved from laughable infamy thanks to less than 4,000 votes in his home state of Minnesota. That’s what a mandate looks like. I am already hearing conservative useful idiots speak of a mandate and that’s begging for trouble. The reason why the democrats lost was, in part, due to tone-deaf arrogance. Start strutting around and spiking the football all over the place and the American public will vote your happy ***** right back out of office in the 2026 midterms. You won, now get to work.
2. Concentrate on the few issues that won you the election – Despite what the propagandists are trying to excuse away, the American electorate voted you in because they hated the open border and the economy. Focus on these two problems and you will be rewarded in future elections. The border is simple enough since existing federal law already gives you all the tools you need…just be tactful with the deportation process. The economy is a much harder nut to crack, given our national addictions to spending money we don’t have and printing money that has no value. The damage has been decades in the making and it’s not going to be solved anytime soon. Your job is to point us in the proper direction. The actual solution (the economic version of a 12-step program) is something Americans are not quite psychologically prepared for at this time.
3. The Democratic Party is now at war – but not with you. For the 2nd time in the past 70 years, there will be a civil war within the Democratic Party. Let them do it without interference. While it won’t be done out in the open the way it was back in the 60s, there is a serious power struggle underway. On one side you have the Marxists, political Islam and the useful idiot pop culture scene, who dominate the donors (and thus the party purse strings.) On the other side you have the moderates/third-way/social democrats and, thanks to overt anti-Semitism perhaps some of the Jewish super-donors. They are yearning to go back to what they perceive as some semblance of social issue sanity that appeals to the very demographics the party lost so much ground in this past election. The worst thing you can do is meddle, even if it means the moderates, who are the more formidable foe, ultimately win the struggle. The democrat civil war in the 60s was also won by the more formidable side (the moderates/nascent Marxist alliance over the Solid South segregationists) to all of our collective benefit.
4. This was not the most important election – The important election of our time did not happen last week…it will happen in 2028. Internal population migrations (forget about illegal immigration for a moment) are going to make huge impacts on the 2030 Census. Large blue states are hemorrhaging people and large red states are the beneficiary. This is a capital fact and when the next census is taken, a radical redistribution of congressional seats will follow. Whoever controls the White House in 2028 controls the census in 2030. The Democratic Party must win the 2028 election or the shift from blue to red congressional seats will be difficult for them to overcome, especially given the potential deportation that’s about to take place. Remember, the census counts bodies, not citizens.
5. Do not majority rule, majority govern instead – have you ever wondered why the democrats use the word democracy in every sentence and want to eliminate the Electoral College to be replaced by a popular vote? They want majority rule. Democracy is a form of tyranny where the 51 rules over the 49. This is one of the reasons why the founders of our nation made us a republic. We did not vote for Kamala or Donald last week but for a group of electors who will do the actual presidential voting in December. You see, New York is a democracy where dems can crush the elephant and Florida is a democracy where the pugs can kick the donkey's assets. The federal government is a compromise of the semi-autonomous democracies that constitute the Republic of the United States of America…and part of that compromise was the formation of electors, as some states wanted to have a direct vote by eligible citizens (the populous ones) and others wanted congress to have the sole authority (the rural ones.) Do you really think that rural, slaveholding Georgia was going to unite in war with urban, abolitionist Philadelphia, Pennsylvania against King George III without an equal share in the outcome? Never lose sight that we are a republic and govern according to that principle.
See you all in 1914.
