Standings have now been rolled to the 2nd set of 162 games.

Congrats to MJDSupporter, who went 98-64 in the first set to take the early lead by one over super commish redcped. Tied for 3rd were jmissirlis and emanes10.

The edge of "the cage" (the term for the top 24 owners, who advance to the 2nd round of competition this fall, for newbies) was 86-76, shared by toysboys, snuffy45, odalisgagne, bbarrett, and beauchamp.

We got off to horrible starts across the board, I think bottoming out at 37-65 (.362). But while we took 65 losses in winning our first 37 games, we only took 29 in winning the second 37 games!

I still like the majority of what was built but was shocked to have started to slowly. Tweaked the rotations and lineups a little and hoping for continued improvement.

That is a heckuva recovery! One of my teams (now 1 game out of 1st) started out 1-8. Another lost its first 13 games in a row! Never seen that before. That team has gone 11-5 since then.

Thanks for the update! I do think there is something inherently wrong with the entire tournament though if my hodgepodge of teams is collectively the fourth best. I'm sure that won't last and by the end of this chicanery ... I'll be appropriately on the outside looking in ... watching all the cool kids compete.

Not complaining. . . just curious, the color codes for redcped seem to be messed up. He should be all blue for sure.

Yes, I got schwarze to help me clean that up. For some reason, just that top row wasn't picking up correctly. Believe you'll find he looks properly blue now.

Biggest movers at the 1st quarter pole of Season 2 (2nd set of 162 games):

jmissirlis took over the top spot in the standings again last night with a 5-1 session. He is 27-15 so far in Season 2.

doctorcc has launched himself from a tie for 28th at the end of Season 1 to a tie for 4th on the strength of an incredible 32-10 run to start Season 2.

beauchamp is also 27-15 for S2Q1, rising from T23 to T14.

bbondsmvp is presently in the cage, courtesy of a 30-12 start to S2, after playing .500 ball in S1.

Check out the biggest drops...I'm pretty sure I'm on that list.

Ouch, juice, you have had a rough go so far in S2! It is true that you are the reddest former blue presently. You'll get it going again.

LOL...yeah I sure hope so - but to be honest, of all the times I've participated in the WISC, I don't think I've ever finished higher than in the 40's so my start this season was WIS teasing me...
