We always wanted a rotation with four horses, so we will add Mike Caldwell, SP, Milwaukee Brewers and his 294 IPs, to Gaylord (356 IPs), Catfish (333 IPs), and Phil Knuckles (285 IPs).

I think that's a safe pick as nobody has selected NY this round and phillies already have Utley @ 2nd.

We were not aware that the Quiz was even in the Navy, let alone a supreme commander of the fleet. In honor of this achievement -- and in recognition of this being the 68th anniversary of the Japanese attack on the U.S. Naval Base in Pearl Harbor -- we shall henceforth refer to him as Quiz Nimitz, after the great U.S. commander-in-chief of the Pacific Fleet in WWII. So let it be written, so let it be done.

It was only a matter of time. As much as we would have loved Paps anchoring the pen, there's no way he's worth as much to me as Yaz when he'll only pitch about 60 innings.

Almost went with Betancourt myself but I didn't want to rob Cleveland of two players given his condition. The Rangers also desparately needed a good LHP out of the pen.
