Moving to baseball, I don't know if either team deserves to win the Series.  I still don't like that St. Louis is there w/o even winning their division.  Poor pitching decisions and defensive outfield positioning by Ron Washington cost the Rangers Game 6.  Why was a 41 year-old pitcher in there in the 10th?  He throws 80 MPH at best.  If the Rangers do win, I think it would be funny for Washington's head to explode.  There are plenty of good decaf products on the market, Ron.  Try and act like a professional.

CHALLENGE 7 - Songs of the Series.

Challenge 7 will focus on Game 7 of the Series tonight.

Each tribe is going to have a fantasy team consisting of 6 players.  You can have any mix of pitchers, hitters, or coach(es) on your team, but you all will have a different team.  To achieve this - we will have a serpentine draft.   I am going to open a chat room at 7PM Eastern (6PM Central) where we will have a 6 round draft.  If you can not have a representative from your tribe there, just send me all of the players ranked in the order you want to draft them.  (I encourage all teams to send me this regardless, I will only use your rankings if  your tribe is not represented at the draft. Of course showing up will enable you to see the other teams picks one at a time and may change your draft strategy.

2 Points per Stolen Base
-2 Points Per Strikeout

Players who do not start the game will get double their hitting stats.

MANAGERS:

The winning manager will get 15 points.  The losing manager will get 0 points.

PITCHERS:

1 point per inning pitched (0.1 inning will receive .33 points)
1 point per strikeout

Pitchers who do not start the game will receive double their pitching stats.

EDIT:  Also, the Winning Pitcher will get 5 points (regardless if he is the starter or relief, it is a bonus and not doubled)

The draft will be Serpentine, so we will pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1.. .etc. for 6 rounds.  As an added bonus for winning the last challenge, the Vets get to choose what order each team will draft.  I need them to tell me this order by 3PM Today, so the other teams have a bit of time to fine tune their strategy based on their position (if necessary).

Captains, send me your rankings (and who will be representing you if they are going to attend the live draft) by 6PM.  If no one is there, I will choose the next highest ranked player from your list.  If your tribe fails to submit a list, and no one is there, you will get the scraps alphabetically after all other teams have picked.

Tiebreaker 1:  Name that Tune.  I need the name of the song heard from this clip.
Tiebreaker 2: Number of Runs scored for STLOUIS
Tiebreaker 3: Number of Runs scored for TEXAS

As a Cards' fan and St. Louis resident I am obviously pulling for them but neither of these teams has shown the focus and attention to basics it usually takes to field a World Series winner such as poor pitching, bad defense, not hitting the cutoff man etc but some of the coaching decisions on both sides are just unbelievable.  On a side note, after watching Tony LaRussa act like such an asswipe for so many years its actually kind of refreshing to see Washington act like a little kid and get excited over the game.  Nonetheless, I hope the Cards continue where they left off last night and bomb the Rangers.  I dont think my heart can take another repeat of last nights game even thought it was one of those games you will remember forever.  I think Washington's head is going to explode tonight one way or another.

Please make note that I changed the list of players, Lance Berkman was pointed out not on the list of people to draft... which he was supposed to be.  He replaced G. Laird.

Adron Chambers will be replacing Holliday in the Cards lineup if you want to change that also?

I can't believe we have Schumaker.  He is soooooooooo bad.  I hope he proves me wrong!!! Go Rangers and GO ROOKIES.  Our strategy of grabbing both managers ALMOST worked out.  Good work scrodz, thanks for drafting, and I am NOT setting you up with my Schumaker comment, I just hate him so much.

I'm just hoping my "strategy" of picking people who will start/play comes through...U&C's and Rooks are both playing 2 people off the bench (Chavez, Jay, Punto and Dotel) and Vets 1 (Jackson).  Though I won't be shocked if someone like Furcal goes 0-4 with 2K's and gets us -4 pts, while someone like Jackson pitches 2 innings and gets 4K's for 8 pts .  Anyway, picks are done, gl guys.  Pola do you have the tiebreaks?
