I have been playing WIS baseball and basketball now for one full year. I am having the time of my life. I haven't yet been successful in talking my wife into it, but in a few years once all the kiddos have flown the nest, I would love to sale the house and tap out. Just buy a tiny house and retire and do nothing but WIS all day long.
I like everybody and I find the humor in everything. Laughter is indeed the best medicine. We all have our quirks and sure some people rub me the wrong way sometimes, and I rub them the wrong way sometimes. You can go back and look at the very 1st basketball league savoy played in and I wrote him a dissertation myself. A lot of guys have given me great advice on building teams in the SIM and I certainly do not want to rub anyone the wrong way on purpose.
But, I have a request. Out of respect for the other owners that have signed up for this theme, if you have not and are not planning on signing up for this theme, please don't comment anymore on this forum. Take it to the Basketball Forum or sitemail savoy directly. And, I promise that if I notice anyone crossing the line on any future forums, I will call them out on it, as I have b4. I have no doubt that if in a few years we were to have a WIS get together in Vegas, we would all get drunk together and argue and laugh and needle each other and have a freaking blast.
Besides, no matter our differences and our personality quirks, we all have something in common. We Love WIS Basketball. And, that is not a common thing. Hard to believe, there's only like what 50 of us that do this?? I can't believe it's not like millions of people and it doesn't cost like $100 per team.
Anyways, sorry to rant, but a couple of VERY SLOW live drafts I am in are running so slow, my patience is worn out. I am going to bed.
