Okay, next up a 3 game home series against the bottom feeding Red Sox. We face a lefty, 1932 Bob Weiland (1-2, 6.06) in the first game. Their catcher is 2019 Christian Vazquez (A+/A+/A+) so nobody will be attempting any stolen bases. We've got a 95 fatigue Roy Mitchell going. Their outfield consists of 3 Mookie Betts, 2016, 18 and 19. I hate that bullschit. He's also got Devers and Bogaerts. They play in Fenway, of course, but this series is in our park, 1976 Yankee Stadium.

Speaker get a rest against the lefty with Buxton going to CF and Chad Allen to LF. Schofield will give Helms a needed day off.

Dum De Dum Dum..............just cruising along. We won the first game of the Red Sox series as we built a 9-0 lead after 5 and then coasted to a 9-4 final. Mitchell went 8 innings and 106 pitches with his 95 fatigue rating. He tired after 5, and gave up 2 in the 6th and 2 in the 8th. Roger McDowell finished up in the 9th and finally had a scoreless stint.

Bottom 1 we got an RBI two bagger from McCovey and then we put up a 5 spot in the second. Highlights were a 2 run triple from Cullenbine and a 2 run single from Cochrane, We POUNDED Weiland's rear end like a 7th century Shepherd to his flock. He gave up 10 hits and 7 walks, good for 9 runs in 4.2 innings. He left with a severe case of whiplash. Cy Morgan held us scoreless across the final 3.1 innings. I think our arms and legs just got tired from all the swinging and running.

No homers for us, but Leach went 3 for 5 in his first game as the leadoff hitter. Cullenbine 1 for 2 and 3 walks. McCovey 3 for 4 with 3 RBI.

Not in open leagues, no Theme leagues can be set up to give all players a cash infusion at some point

We are now 20-15, 5 games behind 2 teams that each beat us 3 out of 4 earlier. Both are 25-10, easily the best 2 teams in either league. I need one of them to start losing.

Next up is a home and home against The Glory of Their Times Anniversary Team. First game across the river at The Polo Grounds. They are throwing 1904 Roy Patterson (1-2, 4.34). We go with Geoff Zahn (4-3, 3.43). Pitching fatigue is really piling up now. Mitchell is scheduled for the next game, but he'll only be at 94. I need to make another move. Their catcher is 1952 Yogi, A- thrower.

Okay, Elmer Brown out, and 1904 Barney Wolfe joins the roster and will start the overnight game.

We just got lambasted by the Glory of Their Times team, 10-2. Zahn went 4 scoreless and then suddenly got pounded for 9 runs in the 5th and the 6th. He walked 8 guys in 5.2 innings. Check out the 5th and the 6th for Glory:
