Now that my streak has been broken, I can talk about it without worrying about jinxing it. Does anyone happen to know what the longest win streak in Savage history was?
how many games did it end at?
42-6 is ridiculous in savage...fanduel already locked any futures bets for that team
21…Savage ;)
Just tied my own record. 42-2 in the last 44. And knowing my luck, I’m going to get swept in the semi conference finals.
Unbelievable man. What an awesome awesome team.
I did a deep dive on that team to try and learn something about roster building and draft strategy. Really impressive.
What did you figure out?
It started when I noticed Fivel Goes West TS% in your spreadsheet with a really good D and rebounding team. When I looked at the draft, I've always been afraid of Harden because of the volume TO's. I liked the Chandler pick and after that I thought a lot of the picks were just ok. I like Wallace, but worried about assists. And Westbrook has always really scared me. So what I learned is to not be so restrictive in draft approaches (D, Reb, TO's, efficiency, shooting, etc) and to be more flexible in my approach as the draft plays out . db clearly showed you can overcome the TO's surrounding Harden with high eFG and plenty of boards. And I'm probably over drafting assists. I've been afraid to get to close to 50 - but he and you as well have had plenty of success going low and getting value elsewhere.
