Even if you send DK down, with Avery making ?$? = Montoya makes more than Valiquette and Staal makes more than Pock......My quick math, with that line up the Rangers would be over the cap??

juskay, I am not sure how those 2-way contract work against the cap. But depending on Avery's award and Hossa's contract, the Rangers may still have to do some shuffling.

I think Montoya needs to play, so AHL makes more sense + he costs a bit more than Valiquette. I am sure Montoya will play, but he will play when someone gets hurt. (and not nescessarily when a goalie gets hurt either)

OK, I'm confused. I swear they changed the arbitration process so that the arbitrator had to pick one or the other and couldn't pick a number in the middle. I must be totally out to lunch, but wasn't that part of the CBA? I guess thats rhetorical as its obviously not, but anyone else under that mistaken impression?

I think it can't go over or under the two numbers ........

But I can't confirm that.
