been saying that every time Pitty mentions using it.

Since day one. You can't possible HAVE a worse idea than the best thing auto assign will come up with.

I tried it the 1st year of the Deuce. Set my lines, d pair, top PP5 and PK4 and auto assigned the rest... disaster area.

Robert Randolph was good, but I had REALLY high expectations for him. The revelation was one of the opening acts. Kid's name was Gary Clark Jr. (youtu.be/HZ5koSEtN7s) and he. Tore. ****. Up. Some guy with a NY/Bahstahn accent introduced him as "Gary Brown Jr." - which should earn that guy an ***-beating. His effects crapped out, plugged straight into his amp and kept. Tearing. ****. Up. Rhythm section didn't miss a beat.  Broke a string, switched to a backup guitar and kept. Tearing. ****. Up. Rhythm section didn't miss a beat. Must not have been the first *** kicking he's administered this tour. I went straight to his merch table to get his CD after he got off. I left them with 4. By the time my buddy got there, he was sold out of them. Better call brown and get some more shipped to the next town. Even the obligatory local band The BeatBeggars - A JJ Cale tribute band of all things- weren't bad, I liked them OK, good job and all.

$2 (that's two bucks) to get in, drinking $4.50 Heinikens. Good night.

Now to figure out why the Gamecocks can't score even a little bit.

why not just burn a copy for your buddy?
8/5/2011 12:16 AM
Oh, I'll hook him up. He's basically a blues virgin, I gotta square him away.
8/5/2011 12:40 AM
Just, considering we got in for two bucks, we wanted to basically tip Clark the $10 for the CD so we wouldn't feel like we stole from him.
8/5/2011 12:41 AM
He is good might even buy his cd but I've heard better. I wasn't really feeling his solo.

I listened to the CD on the way home. He has two earlier one's I don't have, but this one isn't as good as he was live. And that video, he has a rhythm guitarist. I saw him in a power-trio tonight. Gave a different feel.

It was a Bonaroo/hippie chick kind of crowd tonight, and I'm pretty sure a bunch of panties spontaneously unraveled when he put that Eddie Kendricks thing to work.

he told me it's on iTunes for $2 less than I paid for the physical CD at the gig

What's the name of the CD
8/5/2011 1:46 AM
The full length drops August 9th, produced by Doyle Bramhall II (whose recommendation got Clark on the Crossroads show last year). I got a seven-song preview/calling card copy at the gig tonight just called Gary Clark Jr. The full CD will be called Bright Lights. Four-stars in Rolling Stone.

it didn't work, but it was an idea worth a shot. I thought that if I stirred up the free agent list, a stud (say 94+ overall, preferrably with a sniper or PP icon) might bubble to the top when it refreshed. Look at the times I did it. What else am I going to spend money on? My upgrades are done, and I STILL have over $325M in the bank.
I'll sell you an autographed Marko Postley card for $50,000,000

If I've got guys returning from injury, I'll just auto-assign if I'm playing an AI or weak opponent..lazy. I forgot to fix it for Godzilla....err......gregos. Still, he probably would have whooped me. I miss Kleppe already.

I read about Clark a few months ago in RS, but completely forgot about it and never followed up.

A mistake I shall have to soon remedy.
