This was a win we had to have - LSU is playing with 6 men, total...the fellow with 14 minutes is a walk-on. I played uptempo. Oddly enough, so did LSU. We won on fouls and FT shooting. As usual, his scoring was dominated by the same two players.

This is a huge win against Kentucky, coached by Maryland's old coach, oldresorter. Holcomb kept us in this game and then Koualeski and Jones sealed it. Holcomb has responded very well to being put in the starting lineup. French provided some good rebounding, but I wish he'd shoot even less.

Player of the Game: Holcomb - 7 rebounds from a SG, 3 assists and no turnovers outweighs the extra 4 points from Koualeski.
