Another wortheless post by nick. Have you ever contributed more than a dumb joke or contribed jab to these forums. This will be the last time I ever respond to any of your post

The last 2 election cycles have been about Bush. People dont hate the views, they hate that one man. I still heat Dems using the Bush years in the speechs.

The country hates the policies of liberals and conservatives alike if things are not going well in the country.

I will explain "things", if unemployment was low, the housing crisis was over, the economy was on the way up, even good reports coming out of Iraq and Afganistan. If these things happened the majority would like and/or accept all the liberal policies. These "things" are not happening so the majority doesn't like liberal policies.

The presidents approval rating is directly affected by these "things" also.

To answer the question direct the last midterm was better to be conservative. Before that for president and congressional elections it was better to be liberal.

And Obama is the first really "" president we have ever elected since Roosevelt. Some of the biggest defeats in Presidential history were people far to the , Humphrey, Mcgovern and Mondale. Carter and Clinton were centrists.

You would have wanted to be a conservative canidate in 2008? Before that I agree conservatives had the votes, 2008 they didn't, and now I believe they do again.

Well that was what you said in your post above mine, maybe I'm misreading it.

I am sorry Taint, I when I said midterm there, I meant to say special elections, held this year.

So do any of the want to compare and contrast media coverage of the Tea Parties and the Arizona protesters?

Another hilarious gap between what we see and what we are told.

Talking up violence at tea partys for months.

When people are actually violent at Arizona riots the Media keeps mentioning that most people are peaceful, but a car was set on fire and windows were broken and 10 people were arrested.

Didnt think anyone was going to touch this. You can act all superior, but this is 100% proof of media bias!

I agree with your post no one is entitled to a response to every post.

I also agree with swamps post, no one would want to touch the subject of peaceful demonstration of tea party, against Arizona demonstrators. You didn't see any police in riot gear getting hit with bottles at a tea party.
5/6/2010 9:22 AM
Please do not speak to me of police in riot gear. Not after the drug raid video Balko posted over at Reason yesterday.
