(nope)
I kind of wish the sideburns thing had gotten traction, now. At least it would be new.
I really can't figure out which idea is stupider: the idea that we had a plain-as-day robbery of a perfect game, a blubbering ump on tv, and everyone thinks it's just going to go away without affecting anything, or Mike's idea that whatever the commish does will be just fine because Selig "learned his lesson" and can be trusted.
What's funny is you changing your argument.
People say they think Selig made the right decision by not overturning the call, and you somehow take that as people saying they think this won't lead to changes in the replay system.
Bosux: "Selig should overturn the call and give Galarraga his perfect game!"
Pretty much everyone else: "No, he shouldn't. It'll set a dangerous precedent. Calls haven't been overturned after the fact in the last 100+ years, so why start now?"
Bosux: "So you think this won't lead to changes? Idiots! You love Selig!!"
How you read "Selig shouldn't over turn the call" and get "We think this won't lead to any changes in how replays are handled" is beyond me.
