For 71 of the 78 days in the House proceedings Republicans were not allowed to see evidence, cross examine or call witnesses. Schiff for 3 years says he has seen enough evidence to convict Trump. Despite claims Trump is a national security threat, Pelosi sits on what Schiff claims is an open and shut case for a month. Once in the Senate their case falls apart and they need the Senate to provide them with more evidence. Perhaps if they didn't blow off the subpoena on Bolton they might have found something, but they wanted it wrapped up before Christmas. What a load of Schiff this is...

Even in a kangaroo court they could not produce enough dirt on Trump to convict. His approval numbers have gone up.

It may not have been as one sided as claimed, but we heard constantly that the evidence is there. When the time came to produce it, did the dog eat it? It was second hand, third hand, innuendo, less than factual. Propaganda. A canard.

Despite all their bloviating they did not have the evidence to support their claims. Period.

Wanting him to be guilty and having proof of guilt are two very different things.

Complain all you want, but it was not McConnell's job to find Schiff's evidence for him. They screwed the pooch over in the House proceedings. They have themselves to blame.

We shall see what Dunham digs up. I still say Clapper and Brennan serve time. This is not over. Perhaps if Democrats had sought censure instead of impeachment, Republicans may have not pursued it. Now I think they're gonna hang someone. They will have subpoenas ready if/when they take back the House in November...

Democrats in charge give us situations like Chicago, Baltimore, San Francisco. Crumbling cities, decades of mismanagement and corruption. You think Bernie or Biden can be trusted to govern effectively? Biden doesn't know what day it is. Bernie is too busy campaigning to manage people misbehaving in his own campaign but he can handle crisis on a national level? This is a Chinese fire drill waiting to happen.
