I was really kind of unimpressed, but I think B0t kind of liked it. If it hadn't been for the hype I would have liked it a lot more. But it seemed like everyone I know and every reviewer I read was ape **** for it...I just didn't see it.

Heh. That is the kind of stuff I used to listen to a ton back in the day. I still have a touch of the hippy in me but I don't feel the need to seek out that sort of thing anymore.

It SERIOUSLY sucks. They aren't even proper hippies. Just the sort of dudes who thought throwing a frisbee and not shaving would somehow get them laid.

I actually saw them in concert a year ago...somehow they're even worse live.

Just listened to the new MGMT...although I was also working at the time so probably didn't give it the attention it deserves. First impression is that the first half is awesome, and the second half drags.

Listened to two new albums today...Fang Island and Let's Wrestle...liked them both a lot, I think. Definitely deserve multiple listens.

B0t, you liked Surfer Blood, right? You should give Fang Island a chance. It's really bizarre...but solid guitar rock... mixed in with a whole lot of other stuff. It's also disorientatingly happy.
