Maybe rather than trying to work around Wifs and "salvage the league" the right thing to do is VOTE WITH YOUR FEET, get out of FOXX and make WIFS deal with this. NEWBIES beware of FOXX - don't get caught in the chicken coop

I don't mean to be a naysayer, because I think it's up to you guys to do what you wish. Having said that, I think you guys maybe aren't conceiving just how long it's going to take to bring this world back to normalcy. Ask Feamster about his team in Yastrzemski (formerly Matthewson [double "T"]). He took over a team that built itself to dominance by trading arb ready players for AAA studs-to-be that he drafted and signed with 1 steady and a few other aliases over a few seasons. Even with Feamster GIVING away more than a few very good players through the r5 and undoing of trades, that team is still a juggernaut four seasons later, and looks to remain as dominant for at least another 2-3 seasons.

hey griv, would you satisfied if trop (or someone in the world) posted "New Users: This is the wrong world for you" every day in the World Chat while it remains unfilled?

Because while I think trop and the boys are fighting a useless battle (bornlosers Santa Fe team is set for 10 seasons, so it's $250/member to "fight city hall" on this, and no one is going to do that, they'll stick for up to 3 seasons, realize it's useless and head for the hills) it is ultimately, their pointless battle to fight and as they've repeatedly pointed out, no one can tell them it's pointless NOW because they don't see it that way NOW.

I'll refer you dumbasses, who probably haven't undertaken such a task, to Happy Jack. Please see New York Mets. Still winning 110 games every year. However, with far fewer new owners in S4(when I joined and brought a few owners with me), the team was no longer able to win WS with decreasing payrolls. In fact, some other teams started winning WS. To further the point, in my 10 seasons, the New York Mets won as many WS as I did. So, in summation, Santa Fe will be a dominant team for more than 10 seasons. Hell it may be 20 seasons but the crazy team-buidling "strategy" will come to an end. And others will have a chance to compete sooner rather than later.

Not sure what you guys are all about.

If this world never rolls what gives you the idea that I will join another world that needs an owner?

I wasn't looking for another world but this is a rather unique set of circumstances that caught my interest.

Yeah, me too. I have a theory I want to test and I'll only be there for one season. I'm not sure a good, private world wants me screwing around with theories for one season in their world.

The problem is bigger than one owner - there were nine 100 win teams last season. More than just turning off new players, that's a competitive imbalance that makes it tough for noobs to build a resume that would get them into any private world. Learning this game is tough enough, without having to compete against nine juggernaughts while you're doing it. Hopefully we can help restore a little balance, keep the newer owners interested while they're getting their ***** handed to them, and offer some decent advice along the way. If not, all we lost was $25. I've certainly ****** away $25 on more questionable ventures in my life.

There are private worlds that allow newbies and try to prevent trade rape and even tanking. I agree Newbies deserve better than Foxx - which is why we should be acting like "bond vigilantees"(look it up on google if you do not know what they are) rather than behaving like Wifs co-dependents and trying to fix the league.

No Newbies(or anyone else) should join Foxx. When the league sits unfilled maybe the 100 win team owners will get tired of waiting and completely empty the league. Otherwise Wifs will probably sit on their $25 unused dollars rather than doing what should be done and close the FUBARed League

I wonder if they could just remake the league, the current owners stay in the same divisions with the same names, but the teams are just wiped back as if the league is brand new.

So are you just trying to **** of people who are in your leagues or thinking about joining them or don't you have the ability to see and think that far ahead?
