JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, WE ARE DRAFTING FROM THE PHILADELPHIA ATLETICS.

Ok, I'm confused.

First, the Philadelphia A's teams that are bolded are from the 1800s. The 1900s era Philadelphia A's aren't bolded. However, Chief Bender didn't play with Philadelphia until 1903.

Also, the blacklisted player is listed as Dan Brouthers. He never played for the Philadelphia A's.

Finally, Taint's pick is listed as Phenomenal Smith, who only played for the 1800s era Philadelphia A's.

It should be Lefty Grove that is blacklisted for the Philadelphia Athletics.  I gather we are just going for any Philadelphia Athletic.  Is there a reason why we aren't doing the Detroit Wolverines?  There are more than 24 of those players.

Well, if it's the Athletics, I'll take Al Simmons OF

I don't understand it either, but I'll go by the commish's official word and draft an A: Mickey Cochrane C ... I hope that's right, as I'd probably use a reverse here if it's supposed to be the Wolverines.
