It is eminently possible that I will end the season with all 6 of my teams over .500 but none of my teams in the playoffs.

There is also a less likely, but still significantly non-zero, possibility that I will end up with exactly one team below .500, with that team being my only team to make the playoffs.
I was close....all 6 .500 or better but just one playoff team (and one that lost in Game 163).

Rough start to the playoffs (two 1-1, two 0-2). Hope I didn’t exhaust all my playoff luck last year

Two of mine are 1-1, one of mine starts tomorrow thanks to a play-in-game. Could've be 2-0 against 06GSP's $120m team, but we gave up a 3 run bomb in the bottom of the 9th to lose game 2 :(

My variable cap bats remained silent and my team got swept, but otherwise I lost two game fives and won one series. Considering the miserable start, I can live with that

I was actually hoping to play you for that reason. You still had the season split over us, but we played against you well and most of my losses were bullpen losses.

In the decent likelihood I miss Round 2, after I'm done being upset for not being able to spend time managing my platoons in 2 leagues, I'll need someone to step up and be commissioner for the 6 leagues.

Hey everyone

Apologies for being largely MIA during the second half of Round 1 here. For context, the cofounder of my company spent 45 days in the hospital with a terrible medical issue. He's, thankfully, fine now and out of the hospital but I haven't been able to maintain my own teams, let alone check in on everything here. Needless to say, a lot more of the business fell onto my shoulders as a result and, coupled with having just gotten married, I simply haven't had time for any hobbies (let alone much sleep).

I'll be able to read through all comments and keep the standings updated going forward, starting tomorrow. I'll have Round 2 themes out by sometime next week (not this week).

Thanks for bearing with me.
Any update to this?

I must say the team I was most worried about (70mil) team is 9-3 and I feel will probably win over 100....the 3 man staff shouldn’t lose many, jinx on
They ended up not winning 100, but they did end up winning the WS and getting me into round 2..can’t wait for round 2 themes..
