A little under the weather, sesonal stuff.

So I made some chicken soup. Wings were on sale and they make great soup. Carrots and celery. Basic seasoning. Had the time but not the ambition (or truth be told the skill) to make homemade noodles so just got some kluski style.

Also had some frozen bagels and philly brand cream cheese with salmon...been eating those all day.

Oj and milk for beverages.

Friend up
Yeah...You know that Poles consider feeding people an act of love, so sometime I consider cooking food an act of friendship.

Ate over pasta from last night as breakfast. Hard Boiled egg with it, so it counts.

Sonic really has very average burgers...

Great onion rings and great drinks.

Cooking a pork roast in the slow cooker...should be done when I get home. Going to try something. Slicing it in slabs and buttermilk and egg wash with crumbs and fry it. At end put cheese on top to melt...TA DA, Simple pork parmasean.

Is it just me or is Starbucks a tad over rated. Their fancy stuff is good, that apple cider carmel thing they do in the fall is one of the single greatest tastes in the world today, but for just a cup of coffee a lot of places are comparable and a lot cheaper!

Visited my grandmother at Beaumont Hospital Troy. Great place. Remember having my knee surgery their in 1978, it sure has changed.

Raided my firdge and ate any overs from the last 4-5 days. Made one slightly larger than average meal.

Saw a story online from a NY Times article saying that vegetables dont lower cancer risk as much as thought.

1 Should that be the main point of any article that Americans might read?

2 Said that eating 2 extra servings of vegetables each day reduced cancer risk only 4%. This point was buried mid story. 4% seems like something. What were they claiming before, eat a carrot and you never die?

3 I usually fight against the "you are what you eat" crowd. I probably shouldnt. This article seemed just made for me, but I couldnt get excited about it, except of course for calling up my mother and messing with her.
