Now this may not be a big deal but it doesn't inspire a lot of consumer confidence simply because they might make another policy that affects YOU. And change their minds a week later.

What makes you think they are changing their minds?

Two worlds that "meet" the standards are still out there. Allowing them to stay only allows them time to create a couple of aliases to get them below 13. Then, if they add a couple of legit owners, they can remove the alias.

That's EXACTLY what I'd do if I were in that situation. In fact, I'd do it before the season ended. I'd ask someone who's leaving to transfer to my alias. Or have ADMIN transer the MIA team to an alias or three.

Up to 122 openings.

It was and still is necessary. Live with it. Learn to cope. Your perpetual arrogance will not solve this problem.

The problem is that they stopped with one. They need to get off their duffs and do some more.

Nothing happened when they eliminated a word. No progress at all. Hardly an endorsement for closing more.

So you judge a rainstorm by the first drop of rain. How shortsighted.

What, exactly, do you think would have or should have happened?

So you would cancel the baseball season because of a chance of rain on opening day? How shortsighted.

I don't think anything should have happened, but I'm not parading around asking them to close more leagues.

Because the status quo is so good?

When you do something, shouldn't SOMETHING happen?

If not, why do it?

Let's play a game.

WifS shuts down 5 more leagues at 5 PM today.

What do you think will happen over the weekend? Next week?

Do you also judge the rainstorm by the first drop, which incidentally does nothing?

The game becomes healthier overall, after that step in the right direction. Five fading leagues are gone. Some individuals move to healthier leagues, some leave, (mainly the ones who quit at the first sign of difficulty). Five fewer fading leagues remain to trap unsuspecting noobs. Future rollovers don't take quite as long.

That much is undeniable. All that's to argue is whether that's a win-win-win situation. Pretty hard to spin it any other way.
