Uecker world will be rolling tomorrow and we will have 8-10 openings. Uecker has is entering it's seventh season and has been a pretty competitve world since its inception. We have a disproportionate number of AL teams available. Would like to fill several perennial problem teams that just can't seem to keep their owners.

Mike, I now know why you wanted to fill a league. If you have a world that just needs one extra to roll let me know. I might be interested to actually play in a second world.

Hot stove has three openings.

The concept was to fill a league all at once. Not send 4 when you needed 6. The debacle with Hot Stove proved, at least to me, that getting a world to 2-3 openings isn't accomplishing jackshit. There are 47 worlds advertising "2 openings!" The 4 that are (and now 5 counting IF1) aren't interested in getting a world down to 2-3 openings.

When we have 8-9 who want to fill a world and a world with 7-8 openings, this will work. ABU filled in three hours.

We had 8 openings and 8 owners to fill it...some just didn't join and didn't respond to sitemails.

Hence the problem. 4-5 agreed, 1 chose not to participate and the others didn't respond to you because they didn't want to join a world if it wasn't going to fill immediately. What should have happened, and didn't, is EVERYONE should have waited until 8 owners agreed to join. Read back. You'll see where I've said, time and time again, that the idea wasn't to halfass fill a world.
