Well, the Raiders crushed the Chiefs and finished 8-8 with a division record of 6-0 and a record against the rest of the AFC of 0-6.  Overall, how would you rate the season? What did you like and dislike? Can the team improve further under Cable next season? Is a playoff berth a reasonable request for 2011 if there is football to be played?

After so many bad seasons, you have to be happy with dominating your division.   The passing offense still needs work.   I think Ford, Murphy and Miller can be a solid set of pass catchers but a QB is still needed.  And the run defense still blows.  Poor pass 0 and run D means you can't fall behind.  I do think they can win the division next year.

With Al, you never know.  I don't think Cable is some masterful coach but the team in getting better.   I'd like to see him around for another year.

Mike, I just signed an IFA Relief Pitcher. He has good projected splits 88/91 and great first pitch 99, however he has a projected second and third pitch of 42 and 41. Will he get rocked because of these two pitches or will he rely on the first? I am looking toward the amatuer draft and want to know how important the additional pitches are on SP vs RP.  Thanks

His splits will probably overcome his poor 2nd/3rd pitches but I hate those guys.   I always think of this player:  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Miguel Gutierrez   I never felt like he pitched to his ratings and his fatal flaw seemed to be his P2.

happy new year! i had proposed a trade to someone. then i had second thoughts and went in and removed it. apparently at the same time i was withdrawing it, he accepted it. it isn't on my pending trade screen at all. i tried to 'look up if it took affect' thru the news/reports search thing and there doesn't seem to be such a mechanism that i can see. i think i withdrew it as he was considering it and that it's just gone altogether. any way to figure out if that's the case or not/whether the trade is pending and for some reason i just can't see it???

Ask a league member if they can see it.   If they can't, it went bye-bye.
